Overview
Plume is an options market for tokenized stocks, built on Robinhood Chain. Options on real equities — fully collateralized, settled on-chain, live 24/7.
- Fully collateralized
- Settled on-chain
- No liquidations
- Sub-cent gas
If you hold tokenized stocks
Plume lets you earn weekly income from them. You lock your tokens, sell someone the right to this week's upside above a price you're comfortable with, and get paid cash upfront for it. Most weeks, you keep the tokens and the cash both. That's a covered call — a strategy older than most brokerages, running here in one click.
If you trade
Plume sells you the other side. For a few dollars you can own a week of a stock's upside — or downside — with your maximum loss fixed the moment you click. And if you're right on Tuesday, you don't wait for Friday: exercise instantly at the live oracle price, any day, any hour, no buyer required. Friday isn't when the option happens — it's just the deadline for whoever hasn't acted yet.
Everything rests on one idea
The arithmetic of the payoffs guarantees the collateral always covers what's owed, at any price, at any moment. That's why Plume has no margin calls, no liquidations, and no scenario where anyone owes more than they put in — not as a policy, but as a property of the math. You can check it yourself: the contracts are open source, and every line is public.
A few things worth knowing
The stock tokens and stablecoins Plume is built on have issuers with real powers over their own assets. Plume's contracts hold no admin keys, but the assets they hold do, and we say plainly what that means in Trust model & security.
Plume isn't available to people in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, because the underlying tokens themselves aren't.
How these docs work
The rest of these docs run in two tracks. Using Plume teaches you everything you need in plain language — start with Options in five minutes. How Plume works is for readers who want to verify rather than trust: the collateral math, the exercise mechanics, the settlement rules, and the exact places to check every claim on-chain.
Nobody's money should depend on sentences. It depends on arithmetic, and the arithmetic is public.
